I bought a new to me (used in excellent condition) lens. I'm not sure I should have, because I use the DSLR less and less as time goes by. I like the DSLR style cameras and am sad to see only one brand committed to continue making them in the future. At least this G lens is convertible to the new mirrorless mounts. Most of my other F mount glass is the older screw drive AF and won't convert very well. It's better to use them with the DSLR's
