Drowning in echoes,

thoughts like ripples grow.

I'm sinking fast,

each breath feels too slow.

 

anxiety,

clings like a vine,

the clock ticks louder,

my heart out of time.

 

Shadows whisper,

the silence is thick,

every moment a question,

adrift, feeling sick.

 

I'm sinking fast,

another round of doubt,

lost in the current,

with no way out.
