The Conclusive Tree

This image taken near dusk, on the day following what everyone hoped was the last snowfall of the year.

Our weather forecast here locally had changed for the better (yea!), so I set out on a photo run, figuring this trip might be the last call for snow pictures this winter.

I decided straight away that I would head for 'Chicken Hollow Road', as my main destination; not because it has any outstanding landmarks for snow pictures, just mostly because I like the name 'Chicken Hollow Road'.

This turned out to be a mediocre decision, because no matter how much slush and road salt I drove around in scouting, I couldn't find nuffin I really wanted to photograph. So I decided to go ahead and get myself lost, and see if that helped.

After a couple of hours sloshing around in uncharted Ohio wilderness, and somewhere on a road I couldn't name, I found a nice tree that seemed to want its picture taken.

I clicked away, and then packed up and headed home, getting back just in time to feed the cat.
