Munaistule - the historical fire is litt to bring people together and to remember. In old times fires where lit to guide ships home and transmit messages out to sea. Or to lure enemy ships the wrong way. The tradition has been forgotten with the progress of technology, but is now celebrated again to remind us of our responsibilities to the sea.
