Moon & Rim
Shot March 10th, I simply forgot this image even existed until much more recently, haha. That happens. I have a lot of photos. This was several days before the actual full moon occurred, and I was out hiking one of my favorite trails at the local state park, which traverses the canyon about halfway between the rim and floor. I was on the phone with a good friend of mine while shooting this, and she was laughing at me as I mumbled to myself about "exposing for the moon." I'm surprised it turned out as well as it did, because it was rather dark, and in my typical fashion, there was no tripod in sight.
Palo Duro Canyon State Park, Texas, USA
Camera: Fujifilm X-T5
Lens: Tamron 18-300 mm
Settings: ISO 640, f/6.3, 1/450s, 300 mm
Shot handheld.
