behind the touchscreen is the Asus EeeBox PC. It's wee little and dead quiet. Connection to house LAN is via WiFi (box has built in antenna - the lan cable you see was me doing a test). Audio goes from the box to the RCA plugs in the wall, and then on to the house sound system.
The little post-it tab is to cover a blue LED. Man those things are bright.
