Discovery on my way back to the jeep

While taking in my surroundings I noticed a lot of tree clearing had been carried out by the forest management company - thinning out and clearing. Logs were stacked along the track - there’s something special about a stack of cut timbers. I came across these logs which weren’t freshly cut as they had a colony of fungus growing on them.
