When things fall into place
This was such a surreal few minutes. I was out with one of my birding buddies at one of the Toronto city parks. We were going around exploring and waiting to catch a glimpse of a bird that was spotted in the area. However, something else caught my friend’s attention and we noticed this merlin and what I thought was a kestrel were at each other and then this guy came and sat on this pole. Until I looked through the viewfinder after maxing out at 600 mm I didn’t notice how well the Toronto’s CN Tower aligned right behind this beauty. It hung around a little while at a few other spots before taking off.
