Who doesn’t like a little sunshine on a windy day
Long Eared Owl basking in the morning sun at a city park. Had it not been for the sunlight lighting up the face and the eyes, I wouldn’t have been able to spot it.
P.s: Owl photography is a bit of a sensitive thing everywhere as some don’t follow the ethics and others get a bad name for that. The owl seemed to be pretty stressed but I promise I was not the reason. There was a red tailed hawk and a barred owl in the vicinity and these guys don’t play well with the others.
