Maple Resolve 2016

final confirmation gateway for the High Readiness Brigade designated for any potential international

operations. This year’s High Readiness Brigade is formed by 1 Canadian Mechanized Brigade Group

out of Edmonton, Alberta and Shilo, Manitoba.

Exercise MAPLE RESOLVE 1601 is the Canadian Army’s largest and most complex training event of

the year. Running from 23 May until 6 June, 1 Canadian Mechanized Brigade Group soldiers and the

designated High Readiness Aviation Battalion 1-16, with support from the Royal Canadian Air Force,

the US Army, US Reserves, US National Guard, US Marines, Brazilian Army, French Army and a

British Army Infantry Company, are taking part in this year’s exercise.
