Connecting the North
On our latest trip into the northern Ontario wilderness, myself and Steve opted to try and catch a few of Ontario Northland's regional freights out of Englehart.
A late drive up the night before allowed us to be in position for the arrival of 207 at the Glencore mine early the next morning. After making their setoff at Kidd Yard for the Glencore switchers to pick up, they continued west towards the end of track with a small cut of tank cars for Air Liquide in Hallnor. After setting off the inbound cars and doing some re-spotting on the plant's west side, the crew is seen lifting their outbound cars from the east side, having switched ends in preparation for their southbound departure from Kidd after this.
