Photos chronicals the renovation process for Hart Plaza's Dodge Fountain. The historic fountain hasn't operated fully in decades. Thanks to American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding, the Dodge Fountain, a staple in the City of Detroit, will run again spring 2024!

 

Bringing back Detroit's Dodge Fountain has been a labor of love for the Detroit Construction & Demolition Department, and the Capital Planning team over this project.

The fountain stands at 30-feet tall and has:

▶️ more than 100 light fixtures

▶️ 130 spray nozzles

▶️ and 350 linear feet of piping
