1951 Nash Statesman Super

Understandably but also disappointingly, the Police Station modular doesn't come with a vintage cop car. I wanted to build one that could go with it, but something that wasn't a Crown Vic. I came across a Nash Statesman sheriff's car on an auction site and knew it'd be perfect. It's upside down "bathtub" look was just cool and weird enough to try out in 6-wide (and 5 at the cabin).

The 1951 model's body style is similar to that of the 1950, with the exception of subtle fins. I tried to recreate these but I'm not sure if they come across! The curves were another challenge, but the newish 1x1s with curved tops saved me here. I used them to curve the shoulders and underside. As a whole it's not perfect, but I'm pleased with how it turned out. I hope you guys like it. This was a really fun short project, and makes me want to try more from Nash/Rambler/Hudson.

As usual, all stickering (including chrome) is official Lego!
