Dining on a ship requires some precautions for rough seas:

The table is nailed to the floor.

The tablecloth is nailed to the table.

The placemat is nailed to the tablecloth.

The plate is nailed to the placemat.

The bowl is nailed to the plate.

The soup is nailed to the bowl.

And the noodles are nailed to the soup.

So nothing can go wrong.
