Realer Than Real
They all say that. What exactly they experience on the other side is different for each individual, often vastly different. Just like no two lives are the same, no two deaths and no two afterlives are. One thing they all seem to agree upon though, the other world feels more "real" for lack of a better term, than this one. And frankly, better.
Just how much does that really say though. Life to me always felt unreal, lacking intensity. Like a rock song when the drums and bass are missing. As if the outside world was behind glass. As if I were floating in a bubble, a forcefield of sorts, through which communication and connections are getting muted and inhibited, going both ways. Like being in a crowded room and nobody can hear you scream, and neither can you hear them as they talk and go about their day. But then, whenever something did manage to get through the bubble, it usually appeared hostile in nature, so I guess I shouldn't complain too much.
