Southern Nights

NS 5214 leads P45 into Michelin Tire outside Pendleton, SC. This unit is currently the only high hood GP38-2 on the roster with PTC. Earlier in the week the usual GP60s suffered mechanical failures resulting in a last minute addition of a beloved southern railway high hood. These things used to rule the tracks in the area only to be replaced by the more common GP60.
