A "Solus" is a warrior of particular note. Either deemed so ambitious and effective they are given complete free reign on what equipment to utilize and operations to undertake. Or one deemed beyond extreme, unstable, or obstinate, and yet far too valuable to simply kill. These find themselves essentially outcast. With the final orders to use whatever they have on them to accomplish seemingly impossible tasks in order to redeem themselves. It is purposely impossible to tell which kind is which, in order to preserve respect and cooperation from other units.
