Rabbit Island, also known as Manana, is a volcanic island of approximately 63 acres and it rises to about 360 feet at its highest point. The island originally had a rabbit farm, however the rabbits were removed in 1994 because they were destroying the eco system of the island and it is now a protected bird sanctuary.
