Streethunter Supra v1.1

Following my previous post, the Supra has also been updated to be in ~1:17 scale, previously ~1:18. Doing so was more involved with this car than the BRZ.

This car was lengthened by half a stud instead of a full stud. The front fenders look much better now. Before, it was 2 studs and a plate and a half wide, but it's now 3 studs wide, which is more accurate. I then also had to modify the side skirts to fill in the gap that was created and I love how it turned out. The area where the door meets the rear fender and the end of the side skirt did deteriorate ever so slightly. There are bigger gaps than before, but it's a compromise I am willing to accept. In addition, I added a bracket behind the doors to mount it. Previously, it was just loose and held in by the bricks around it, but now it doesn't fall out when I move the car, which is great!

Moving towards the rear, lengthening the car meant I had to push the rear fenders and bumper back. I was dreading it a bit, but with determination, I was able to move it back and even improved the stability of it! So now, when you compare it to my previous version, the rear is absolutely identical and you can't even tell that I made any changes to it. Overall, I love how this car turned out!
