A story...
I stopped for a brew at the 1066 cafe the other day. This was owned by a guy who was out for a ride with his son who was on his first "big bike" since passing his test. The son had one of those Indian built XG750 (?) Harleys that they built briefly to try and entice younger riders onto Harleys. Now discontinued, they managed to buy him a clean used example and had it delivered to their home address. The lad then went to insure it...
Fully comprehensive, the best price they could get was... £8000 !!!
They finally settled on Third Party F&T at £2800 !
