He'll not make old bones, is a saying that I heard once.

 

In other news, I found these memorials to Sheffield's cutlery industry yesterday for a tiny sum.

Probably wedding presents from long ago, kept in the drawer for high days and holidays.

 

Some say one should eat fish with two forks, others with just the fingers. Me, I've always liked fish knives.
