Finocchio

Tossed in olive oil, pepper, and salt. Air fried for 12 mins at 180 deg C.

Drizzled with balsamic vinaigrette and served. Cooking reduces some of the distinctive anise flavor.

 

Finocchio is a nice vegetable but an unkind name to call someone. It happened to me when attached to the Italian army. Just once.
