Ρεβίθια

Revithia is a Greek chickpea and vegetable stew. Here is my own take on it. I've added some basil as a garnish because I have loads of it growing right now.

It originates in Sifnos and was made in a clay pot on Saturday night and left in the embers. Hence, it's sometimes called 'Sunday soup'.

It is cheap to make and full of flavor. And it's even good for you, with loads of protein and zinc, and other handy dandy minerals and vitamins.
