The John G Munson seen here loading taconite pellets out of CN-6 serves as a more interesting capture due to its more uniquely constructed self unloading boom. The majority of self unloaders on the Great Lakes are situated aft whereas the Munson is among the few that is not set in such a position. Universally however, this equipment is disoriented during the loading process where the unloading boom is swung outward in order to make room for the ore chutes or conveyors.
