Cardin inspired
Here's Peggy wearing my most recent creation. This design is inspired by a series of space age style dresses Cardin created in 1969 featuring two tone dresses in vibrant block colours with black motifs and long pvc boots and gloves. Dress and glove sleeves made by me. I experimented a new technique for adding the motif to the dress by treating it first with Diamond Glaze glue which sort of plastificates the fabric and prevents the edges fraying, then applied it to the green fabric using heat fusible web. I am really pleased with how this new technique worked out and I'm looking forward to using it for other designs.
