A11 Love

I decided to try and utilize the color pink to convey love in this photo. For composition, I placed a plastic heart frame on a white surface. Then, I scattered fake light pink rose petals on the surface as well. Finally, I decided to place a pink circular candle in the middle of the surface for lighting. I thought the candle lighting and the rose petals would add a sense of romance to the photo, which is why I used them. I wanted the subject of the photo to be the heart, so I blurred the surroundings and sharpened the heart frame. I also disliked how the candle seemed like a distraction from the frame, so I blurred it a little bit as well. I then adjusted the colors on this photo in an editing software to make the photo have a pinkish hue to it in hopes that it would help convey love a bit more. I dislike the rectangle shadow around the candle, I feel like it's distracting and I'm not sure where it came from. I also think that the white areas on the frame from the light is a bit distracting as well. Maybe I could have used a different source of lighting instead of the candle.
