Reunited

It had been two years since the "accident" that had almost claimed his life, and had taken a good chunk of his left side. And a year and a half since he had parted ways with the military and set out with the merc group to find a certain someone, and answers regarding the corporate espionage that he was certain caused the experimental fighter to turn into a bomb.

 

And a year and a half since he'd last seen the girl he had grown up calling sister despite them sharing not a drop of blood.

 

Once Kian had found Ava, he knew his time with the merc company he had been working with was coming to a close. As to the future, he wasn't exactly sure, but he knew that Cori would be able to help him put together the puzzle he could now put his full focus into.

 

So he sent a message through the few contacts he could trust, ones who would know exactly how to get that message into the right hands. She'd made her way to the planet he'd wound up on, and at long last, part of the family was back together.
