Some people would say cars are more than just machines,

Sometimes they are a part of our lives,

Some would say it's a form of a bond, A strong,

A some what of a connection that sometimes would last a life time.

The way she purr's,

When we take her out for a spin,

Sometimes the feeling of freedom!

For some, it's the memories they hold,

Like: Road Trips and Adventures

And for others, it's the way she gleams,

A reflection of our self-esteem.

But no matter what the reason,

Sometimes we develop a sentimental tie,

To feeling of her metal and gears as we drive,

A connection that will forever thrive.

So when we see them just sitting there,

Rusty and worn down, with no repairs,

That's when we sometimes can't help but feel a sense of loss,

For the memories and love it has cost.

For cars are more than just machines,

Sometimes they are part of our lives,

A sentimental bond that will never break,

For the love of our cars, our hearts will ache.
