Solar activity of May 19th 2024
Managed to capture 2 solar flares this day, both class M. First one was 1.91 and the second 2.54 in magnitude.
Unfortunately I couldn't keep capturing any further on the second because of the sun's low altitude, clouds occuring from nowhere and severe atmospheric disturbance.
EXIF:
Telescope: Lunt LS50THa/B600
Camera: Player One Neptune-M
Mount: iOptron GEM28
Software: SharpCap Pro 4, Autostakkert! 4, ImPPG, Photoshop CC 2024
Settings: SER format, MONO16, 4 ms up to 10 sec exposures, 0 gain, vertical flip, 1000 frames @ 30 fps (33.3 sec recording time)
40% (400 frames) stacked, 33 images in total
Recording span: 12:34 to 18:04 UTC
