Berry feast

A lot of mostly insect eating birds like this female Downy Woodpecker (who was joined by several warblers and vireos in this feast) will eat berries when they are ripe as they are easy to get and high in carbohydrates, giving them an extra bit of energy after a long nesting season. Found in Tadoussac, Quebec.
