Sensitive Habitat ;-)

This species like many other species breeding in open meadows has been in decline over the past 70 or so years, due the loss of suitable habitat and the more frequent harvesting of hay. The Washington County Grasslands provide such habitat and many fields there are harvested late or sometimes only every other year. Both Bobolink and Meadowlark can be seen there regularly during breeding season. (Bobolink | Reisstärling | Goglu des prés)
