Bayou guy - American Alligator
This guy is one of three Alligators in this particular spot of the bayou that I’ve been able to have an amazing experience with. They know me by sight and swim right up to the shoreline where I sit. I have extreme respect for their power and use short visiting intervals when I first meet a new Alligator…..It is me that who needs to earn their trust. This guy is one of the bigger males who just swims up to sit and hang out. I will sit and photograph them until I run out of storage every single time I go.
