A watermelon field

The farmer uses Cypermethrin on a two weekly interval for weed control. He has also practiced conservation farming but is not applying it here. This field was planted at the end of the rains and will be harvested in August without irrigation due to the long taproot of the watermelon. He would do much better if he used manure, compost and mulching
