Iron Crosses
Two freshly decorated soldiers. The full beards are typical of the early days of trench warfare up to 1915. When gas masks came into use, such beards were no longer permitted.
Note on reverse: "Bois la Vaux de Fumin [?] - so heißt die Farm wo das Bild verfertigt wurde. Zum Andenken an den Welt-Krieg 1914-15 übersende ich Ihnen, lb. Frau Bauer, eine Aufnahme. Ihr Chr. Eckardt"
