Rupprecht, Crown Prince of Bavaria
Text on reverse: "Kortrik, 1. Oktober 1917. Mein lieber Fritz! [...] Der Herr mit der Zigarette im Munde ist Kronprinz Rupprecht von Baiern. Der Herr mit der Mütze in der Tür stehend, ist der Führer des IX. R.-K., Dieffenbach".
"Kortrijk, 1 October 1917. My dear Fritz! [...] The gentleman with the cigarette in his mouth is Crown Prince Rupprecht of Bavaria. The gentleman with the cap standing in the doorway is the commander of the IX Reserve-Korps, Dieffenbach".
Note the small crowns on the headlights. Obviously it is Rupprecht's own car.
