St. Francis and the wolf, Saint-Véran's church, Queyras
Most of the decoration inside the church were made of wood in the 17th century. This one of St. Francis of Assisi with the wolf caught my attention. It reminded me of the story of St. Francis who tamed a big bad wolf that my mother used to tell me when I was a kid. If you don't know this story, read it , it's cute!
