A girl with yellow hair battles nazis.

 

We may know him from his children's books like Danny and the Dinosaur, but Syd started his career as a political cartoonist in leftist magazine and then worked in the war department spreading the Allied message. His cartoons were dropped as leaflets behind enemy lines.
