The attentive might have noticed that sometimes we scanners will mark an image as a a crop or a detail. This is to note that the image isn't a full page. In this case, I've marked alteration to note that I've shifted items on the pages about a little bit to make the art line up. Sometimes here at Flickr (or even in certain scans) I'll take liberties with putting joins together, moving blocks of text, slightly adjusting page numbers or margins, etc. A service to the art but not "as printed." Slight details perhaps, but in a world where digital images might be all that remain of certain publications one day, it never hurts to point out that an image isn't exactly archival.
