Featuring top-notch production, the magazine is a trove of knowledge on jazz musicians of the era, and the photography and graphic design on the splash pages is second to none in the confessions arena. Art design and layouts by LeRoy Winbush, a Memphian that moved to Chicago at 14 who also worked on Duke magazine which you can find elsewhere on my feed.
