Manhunt v08 n01 (1960-02.Flying Eagle) cover (Darwin Edit)

I can't quite make out the signature to the left of the wrist.
A Raymond Chandler led issue of Manhunt.
I'm utterly and completely charmed this magazine, every damn time.
This copy had coffee and other schmutz on the the cover like you'd expect of a grubby little crime digest. I have high reverence for magazines in my efforts as scanner and scholar but treat my new ones as rough as anybody. Just because a mag is 60 years old, I don't hold it against former owners that they ate their lunch over the thing. I applaud them for reading and enjoying the magazine as intended.
