Crystal Clear at Cavers

A late winter's morning on Lake Superior (with no fog and weather one could only dream about) has eastbound 106 all strung out along Cavers Bay, winding towards its first of two tunnels flanking MP 27 on CP's Nipigon Subdivision. The train's pair of distributed GEs could be heard for upwards of ten miles here, the vibrations carrying over the lake, bouncing off rock cuts and disappearing completely at times before rumbling back in force again. Anticipation at its finest.
