Right side up - Up side down - But not inside out

This one I got lucky with. We had quite a cold snap over night. This

Centepede (cormocephalus) was found in a persons wood pile while they have been cleaning up due to a white ant problem and they gave it to me for some pics.

Being so cold and this guy being exothermic it wasnt moving a great deal as my heater was not running so I made the most of it.

Here you can see a Dorsal (Right way up) and a Ventral (Its upside down) of the critter , you can see each of its 19 pairs of legs. 1 leg has recently had trauma and a bit is missing. All of its hidden and not often seen for the world to see. Sorry little guy you have lost all of your dignity.

A fascinating view that I was wanting to see for myself but be able to share also.

I flipped and mirrored the ventral image in Photoshop as I made the composite.

I photographed the little one through picture frame glass
