Mark Patneaude serves as program director at Western Correctional Center for Women, where he is known for his "failure is not an option" mindset. In January 2022, the facility took over a Correction Enterprises laundry operation. A shortage of credentialed bus drivers threatened the operation's tight schedules. Patneaude offered his personal credentials to assist with driving chores, in addition to his other programs duties. The laundry became successful, and a beneficial rehabilitative opportunity for offenders remained in place.
