Shunamganj Diary

Sylhet, a picturesque division in northeastern Bangladesh, is known for its lush landscapes, tea gardens, and numerous rivers. Floods in this region are not uncommon, and they often result from heavy monsoon rains, overflowing rivers, or a combination of both. Shunamganj, being a part of Sylhet, is susceptible to such flooding events.
In 2022, heavy rainfall drowned Shunamganj. We tried our best to help them as we can, giving them food, water, dry foods etc.
