Wild Flame Azalea

I love Azaleas. At the top of my fave list are the Wild Flame Azaleas that grow along the mountain trails in my area. The true name for the wild Azalea, is Flame Azalea (Rhododendron calendulaceum). They can be bright orange, yellow, or red. We see the orange in my area most often. They grow on slopes, in the thickest areas, and can be very hard to get near. This one had grown upwards from the slope, nearer to the trail, and with my 300mm, I was able to get a good shot.
