Black-Tailed Godwit / Limosa limosa / 黑尾塍鷸

“HK - passage migrant (common in spring, uncommon in autumn), common winter visitor and rare summer visitor - mostly in the Deep Bay area, with counts of 2,000+ in April.”

(NOTE: Owing to personal and travel commitments, I’ll be mostly OFF starting 20th Sep until late October. During this time, I probably won’t be uploading any new photos, although I’ll try to like / comment on photos uploaded by others to my feed when I have time.)

Species: Black-Tailed Godwit / Limosa limosa / 黑尾塍鷸

(Non-breeding plumage; this particular bird was captured in December, making it highly likely to be sub-species L. l. bohaii, one of 4 recognised sub-species of the Black-Tailed Godwit.)
