Anthotype prep - Beetroot

As I wait for the beetroot anthotype to expose and for my order of precision scales to arrive, here are some anthotype preparation photos.

Substrate: Watercolour paper 180gsm

Light sensitive anthotype dye: Grated beeroot juice

Application: dabbing with grated beetroot ball in a synthetic cloth

Opaque layer: clockwise from top left - beetroot leaf, fishbone fern frond, conifer, eukalyptus leaves.

Exposure time: tbd

Does anyone have experience with beetroot juice? It has been a day so far and the exposed areas haven't faded yet, unlike turmeric and paprika which fades within hours. I'm guessing that it may be a few weeks.
