Gray heron offspring in tree nest / Graureiher Nachwuchs im Baumnest
This gray heron nest was in the middle of a small lake, relatively far from the shore. I wouldn't have gotten close enough with the 200-500mm, so I used the Nikon 1.7x converter. I used the converter a few more times later, but I'm not really happy with the results. I'll probably save up for a 500mm prime lens and then use the 1.4x converter when needed. If anyone has good tips, welcome! :-)
Dieses Graureiher Nest befand sich in der Mitte eines kleinen Sees, realtiv weit entfernt vom Ufer. Mit dem 200-500mm wäre ich nicht nah genug rangekommen, so nutzte ich den Nikon 1,7x Konverter. Den Konverter habe ich später noch ein paar mal verwendet, bin aber mit den Ergebnissen nicht wirklich zufrieden. Wahrscheinlich werde ich auf eine 500mm Festbrennweite sparen und dann bei Bedarf den 1,4x Konverter benutzen. Wenn jemand gute Tipps hat, gerne! :-)
