.:HASSEL:.
I want you to know
I'm Hassel. You might know me. If not, nice to meet you. Firstly, thanks if you are reading this. Secondly, I want you to know something that happened to me. One of the things I enjoy most in second life is creating, making textures. And I have a store in second life so if people like what I make, they can get it. I think second life gives us a lot of opportunities to create and express ourselves. The latest thing I made was a pack of sweaters. I'm wearing one of the sweaters on the photo. And the other day a guy who runs 2 stores called: BROWN (Rogeriiopersona2019) AND BROWN SHAPES (GyselleNovaess), bought the pack of sweaters and stole my textures, and he is selling them on one of his stores. I've been told it's not the first time he has stolen others's work (textures, meshes and shapes). I wanted you to know, so you can have that in mind.
There is no reason to steal others's work. If you need money but you don't have enough time or talent, don't steal others's work.
If you are caught red-handed and they ask you politely to remove the item you copied, as I did that with him, say at least a sorry and you were wrong and delete that stolen item from your store. Don't have the nerve of telling more lies, or being rude. And as I said, there is no reason to do that, everyone has problems in RL too, and we can't use that as an excuse for our bad behaviour.
When we create things we put a lot of effort making them and a lot of our energy and feelings. So if you are reading this and you can put in my shoes, I don't need to tell you how I've been feeling these days.
And as second life citizens we can do small gestures, like supporting each other in these situations. Small gestures matters, so please bear in mind his stores and don't buy things from there. It's a way of showing him that you don't support that kind of behaviour.
Thanks for reading it till the end!
Take care!
