Home sweet home (IR 1000nm)
From yet another scouting mission, end of April, the leaves of the trees were just sprouting. This light bright green is just wonderful, the forest is interspersed with beeches here. π
And, in the beginning, I found another abandoned house in the middle of nowhere (this is just a logging track I'm on right there), snooping around, there were beer bottles from like 30 years ago on a table inside, and a balcony falling off, literally, on the other side, and a nice well too.
Not doing much photography at all at the moment, however, the RG 1000 still hasn't left my IR camera. Still surprised how much I enjoy it. In daylight, with ISO 800 and the rather decent VC on the Tamron, it's quite handhold-able.
The imperfection and uniqueness of these 'scouting-single-shots' was / is really refreshing, but I'm preparing myself for some more panoramic action again. Did some tests with the RG 1000 in regard to that, which proved to be quite valuable, and yet another new member of the heliopan filter family (I also acquired last fall, but haven't introduced so far), maybe I get my mojo going again when the weather gets better.
I don't wanna leave the impression that it is about gear though; π more like the possibility of new discoveries I feel. Or maybe I miss carrying a tripod on my shoulder for days on end, who knows..? π
Have a nice day, my fellow photo peeps.. π π
